Kopi means coffee and Luwak which is an Indonesian word for civets cats (palm civet, an animal of the Indonesian isles). Kopi Luwak is special due to its different production, its taste, and also its price. Palm Civets feast on coffee beans and excrete as it is devoid of digestion. Now it can be collect from the ground. And Kopi Luwak is ready after sterilization with its unique full aroma chocolade taste.
On the whole, the most expensive coffee in the world comes from shit, Only 230 kilogram per year of this coffee are produced. A cup of Kopi Luwak costs around US$7 or 700 US$/kg. Crowds in Minnesota are paying $10 per cup.
