400-Year-Old Skull & Crossbones Automaton Clock

Skull & Crossbones Automaton Clock

Read it further only if you have the enthusiasm to admire antique products. Otherwise free feel to skip this space. Made up of skull & crossbones, this automaton clock is a perfect accessory for the room where alien furniture resides and Damien Hirst’s diamond skull is installed. Counted among the eerie accessories, Skull seems to maintain its charm from ages. While this watch dates back to 1610 when designer Nicolaus Schmidt der Jun gave vent to his artistic talent and produced this eternal valuable watch. The skull is placed on two crossed shinbones and escalated on a gilt brass tripod.

This 400 years old timepiece is quite interesting as during the first minute the skull seems to be laughing, screaming in the second and when it closes its jaws it aims to bite everything to pieces. With snakes dancing onto the swing of the watch, the scary watch lately fetched $135,000.
