Still under-process, the renowned VW Westfalia Camper Van is being remodeled to come forward with its new avatar offering environmental-friendly look and feel. Ready to burn the roads, Alexandre Verdier envisages it as a vehicle with solar panels to power its board accessories. It will have a built-in computer and GPS-system positioned within the panels to capture maximum solar-intake. It also features an accessory packed rotating kitchen that serves meal prep inside or out. But this great beauty doesnt come cheap and demands a Biting sum of $69,000.

If you have a fortune to meet your fanatics for robots, then you have hit the right place. Retailed at a hefty tag of $725,000,000, this giant Gundam robot can meet all your desires. The Gundam will be 18 meters (60 feet) tall and would weigh 43.4 metric tones.
Folks, the cost of the robot don’t include the cost of labor and infrastructure charges required to support the machine. The Gundam can’t fly with any sci-fi weaponry and is clad in aluminum alloy plating (and not Gundanium), which itself is retailed at $79,000,000.
It works on an IBM Blue Gene supercomputer system ($1,550,000) whilst its actions would be monitored by 30 giant 400KW motors (12 in the legs, 2 in the torso, 14 in the arms, and 2 in the neck). Against the 300KW motor power used by a Shinkansen bullet train, it makes use of a 400KW motor. The sole cost of its motors is retailed at $7.8 million, beating the 7 Apache helicopter engines (sits at $52 million each). I am having dearth of words now to say anything further.

Six-foot bulges are set to smash on the Thames at an appeal focused to entice the mounting position of urban surfers to tang the “archetypal California surf routine” in the improbable setting of a derelict wharf in the vicinity of East London. News is by 2011, the world’s first outdoor artificial surfing machine is expected to hit the board and counter the established mane of the Atlantic breakers of Devon and Cornwall making use of clean river water.
The idea is to influence surfers to reach to their boards in Tower Hamlets instead of making long drive to the West Country, where the waves are more millpond than Maui. Expected to be the £20mn Venture Xtreme project at Silvertown Quays, it has managed to gain outline planning permission. They are geared up to start their project for converting the former grain dock. This would be supplemented by a synthetic beach surrounded by the palm trees, boardwalks and rentable fire-pits and barbecues for post-surf relaxation.
To enjoy this deal, surfers would be charged £30 ($60) for an hour-long session under which they would be offered at least 10 waves per rider, and each one rolls more than 100 metres as the swell expands from the dock to the beach. The wave machine is being set in such a way to make the surf split right-left from a central peak, enabling surfers to go smoothly accident fear. Against the Miyazaki Ocean Dome in Tokyo that got shut due to the less number of visitors, this is a project with a difference. It is a brainchild of Steve Jones, an adventure sports enthusiast and is backed by David Taylor, a former regeneration adviser to John Prescott.

An elite estate located in Hampstead, North-West London is being touted as the most expensive property ever sold in Britain. And the fortunate buyer of the property is Israeli diamond billionaire Lev Leviev, who paid $80 million for this seven-bedroom home. He has plans to shift to this villa with his wife Olga and two of his nine children. The actual cost of the house is $70 million but it is the $100,000 bullet proof front door that has hoisted its value. It is being heard that the estate would be the permanent residence for this Israeli tycoon.
It features a $1.5mn stone staircase erected using 150-year-old carving modus operandi and an indoor swimming pool layered with gold-plated mosaic tiles. It also flaunts a gym, sauna, ballroom and cinema, a private hair salon and a one-ton bathroom basin carved from a single piece of white Iranian onyx.
The day Leviev would step up into this villa, he would be shielded with not only bullet-proof front door but also 25 security cameras and a high-tech alarm system that can be monitored distantly from a yacht in the Caribbean if need be. What all luxurious installments in this manor make it UK’s most expensive? A $46,000 topiary bush and $230,000 hand-carved stone fireplace in the living room are the most striking accessories.
