A nod is being given to install a new torque skyscraper in Russia in the city of Yekaterinburg. To-be called as Iset Tower, its name is derived from Iset River that stands 215 meters and its construction is in the hands of French developers Bouygues Batiment. Wrapped in a cylindrical form around the central core, almost a third of the way up the tower has started to cut away divulging the center, thereby offering it a spiraled effect right at its crest.
The glass facades are expected to be gold tinted against the white spine, providing it an elite appeal on the skyline. Balconies intersperse the portico to enable the residents breathe fresh air besides enjoying the beautiful interiors. The point tower turns spiral upwards; green spaces are visible offering a scenic view to the dwellers. It seems that the tower is connected to the adjacent edifice via a sky bridge; this could perhaps be accessible to either work or more prominently for retail therapy space. The tower is an abode for 115 luxury apartments that fit in with the lavish gold tones of the loom. It features beauty/ spa centre, fitness centre and private parking. The formal foundation stone laying ceremony happened on 12 February 2007 but till no the construction yet to begin and word is around that it will be erected by 2010.

As a part of RM auctions–automobiles of Amelia, US; a rare beastly Ford Model 40 Special roadster, custom built in 1934 for Edsel Ford, then President of the Ford Motor Company has now reached the auction block in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This one-of-its-kind Speedster was designed at Ford’s Willow Run Aircraft plant in Dearborn, Michigan and was in custody of the present proud owner for last 40 years. I wonder what made the present owner flag it for auction at the annual “Automobiles of Amelia Island” event in March. But good for the highest bidder. Wish you luck!

You aren’t really a reading type soul but your lasting desire to design a library in your new home, populated with books is still alive. So, where is the solution? Beg, borrow or steal doesn’t apply here. To give a deserving respect to the allocated area of library, which at present seems no less than an attic one should explore the stuff available at the New York City Strand Bookstore. The available books here are priced by the foot. Price varies from $20 a foot to $400 a foot for leather-bound 19th century novels. This would be a neat deal to deck-up your empty library with the right stuff without making much effort on an otherwise routine of mounting up a lifetime of volumes.

Last month we told you about unique Carbon Fibre Briefcase by Hermes but today Nandini from BornRich has digged another revolution by pulling out the existence of Solar Powered Notebook at Tuvie, albeit it’s a concept by now. Typically driven by solar energy, the laptop features dominant batteries that are recharged by extensive Solar Panel, which is detachable in nature but built-in as a part of the computer. The solar laptop comes packed with satellite link GPS, internet access, and satellite telephone that makes the machine more of an independent communication channel. Fingers crossed, hopes high that this concept turns reality soon.

News is Michael Jackson’s merry time seems to be over as his Neverland Ranch is set to be auctioned unless he pays $24 million plus interest he owes on the estate. Financial Title Co. cased the notice of trustee’s sale with Santa Barbara County Superior Court, scheduling the auction date on 19 March. It would include his locomotive, curtains and other home furnishings and accessories. Jackson is being warned by the court to take necessary action in order to maintain his possession of the generous estate. Once it looses from its hands, it would be welcoming an opening bid for $24.5 million, thereby justifying the interest and other costs due on Jackson’s behalf. The ascetic star is no longer residing in his renowned 2,500-acre spread in Los Olivos, an admired tourist spot northwest of Santa Barbara for its wineries.

Not a big deal for you but quite a substantial reason for us to rock, roll, wine and dine. It seems only apt if one celebrates occasion, anniversary after achieving the committed word. And here I justify the rule and ready to bingo with my post no. 1000. Taking the dialogue further of turning the number 500 into 1000 within months, it’s a big day for us. How has EliteChoice been performing?”
For much of 2007, I would consistently respond to this oft-asked question by saying: “You tell me.” This is because it mattered less to us than what our savvy readers think about deliverables in relation to our early promises. Going by what Socrates famously said: “The unexamined life is not worth living,” I am here to draw visibility of the things done on or before time and also highlight the blueprint of what next?
We invited tips, comments for our evolving blog and tried reaching, responding individually for things enquired, requested. Unlike the customary nature of the established blogs where you have administrator, editors and contributors; here i march with things single-handedly. I have no complaints but rather take pride in handling such responsibility with quantifiable deliverables. We cannot forget those miserable moments when Google pagerank was dancing, which is still busy shaking a leg till today. Fortunately, today elitechoice is back with pagerank 3, if not the lost 4.
Also, doing a comparitive study with established bloggers seems senseless to us as we need to walk before we can run. Now that we have been playing with various possibilities, making mistakes, falling and then rising head high to carve another revolution at blogosphere is obvious.
Just as bartenders do happen to break more glasses because they handle so many more such glasses, journalists or/and bloggers who survive on data, news and facts are also bound to get some facts wrong. And we have had our share of them. What next? From early success, we want to move towards significance. Let’s see how early is that possible. Thanks for making it possible and for your encouraging and much-needed feedback.
Love to all my readers—:D

Here is a perfect piece of news for those who want an appearance of British sports car exceptionality. Caterham Motors, an established name in the realm of racing world, has teamed up with RS Performance to produce the ultra-modern Caterham RS Seven, the ultimate in adapted Seven coach building.
Known as RS Seven, it is a replica of other automobiles designed by Caterham but stands aside in terms of specifications. Hidden under the hood is a bug killer with a 500+ horsepower. The coupe gets its fluid from a 40-valve, 2.4 litre RST-V8 engine that conveys an over 500bhp as a supercharged variant. But if it is too much for then the detachable supercharger can be removed, thereby bringing the numbers down to a modest 380 hp and 190 ft/lbs of torque. Now here lies the core of the news: the lightweight racing beast produces a power-to-weight ratio of over 1000bhp per tonne, almost double of a Bugatti Veyron. This roadster can be yours by shelling out £115,000 ($230,000).

New York landed gentry bespoke work from some of the endowed French designers and architects during the 1930s and 1940s, creating a diary of delicate structural design along Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue. Enthused by this affluent era, S. T. Dupont has conjured up an inheritance of its own in the New York Fifth Avenue collection. Roughly 160 hours are invested to produce each $2,400 taupe- and chocolate-colored lacquer fountain pen that is hand painted with pale-gold featuring a globe design stimulated by the 1936 figurine of Atlas at Rockefeller Center. Its openwork clip along with 18-karat-gold nib further augments the design keeping the true spirit of French art de vivre. Counted 1,929 pieces are produced to honor the year Lucien Tissot Dupont, son of S. T. Dupont’s founder, first came from France to New York.
