Christmas is still six-months away but does it mean we have to wait until then to commemorate the spirit? Well, if choose to say a big ‘NO’ or rather ignore the thought. And supporting my way is the world’s most expensive Christmas bauble, featured on 10 July in the Krebs Glas Lauscha GmbH company in Lauscha, Germany. Krebs Glas Lauscha has adorned a translucent glass ball with delicately fashioned solid 12-karat gold and 120 neatly-cut diamonds of the clarity VS1, weighing in total 5.1 carats. The bauble is anticipated to be retailed at 20,000 Euro ($31,400) per piece. Well, its presence at the small German village Lauscha is a proof that the place is the “birthplace” of glass Christmas ornaments.
