Custom painted cars are a real delight as they give both the artists and the drivers a chance to sport a new style and display art on a canvas that reaches out to everyone on the street. This 1981 Buick Classic though is a lot more than the Full Mullet Airbrush Mural on top that makes it different and special. It also comes with power packed performance under the hood by sporting the original prototype Gale Banks Buick turbocharged V6 engine. If that is indeed the engine this 81 Buick is sporting (And we have no reason to doubt the claims), then this is more than worth its price tag of $200,000.

Flying car is more often a Hollywood creation than an actual reality and even at this point where technology might be advanced enough to make it possible, one just gets the feeling that there might be plenty of hassles when every other person is allowed to take the skies. Moller International has been on a course to modify the Ferrari 599 GTB into a flying car ‘Autovolantor’, a car with an ability to lift you out of traffic and liberate you from the long queue that you are stuck in. This would be the ultimate delight for those driving the conceptual Autovolantor and it would also be the ultimate frustration to all others around.

Custom cars are really a rave among the Motorheads and it is hard to really find few cars that are much shinier and more blingy than this Aston Martin DB7 that is al set to light up a car show in London very soon. If you feel that all that golden hue is custom paint job then you could not be more far off from truth. It is in fact all gold and that layer of gold is mixed with Platinum to ensure that it lasts really long. As if gold is not expensive enough and the Platinum is not rare enough, they just chose to take it up a few more notches by embedding a few diamonds into it!

Jetsons was a cartoon show that was envisaged on the future and the future is here! We have waited long enough for our fantasies of a flying car that will save us from the jammed traffics and it seems likely that in a date close enough we will be living those fantasies going by the number of flying car concepts that keep coming up every other day.
Developed by a design student, Tibor, for a design competition, organized by Porsche Hungary, the Audi Calamaro is a futuristic concept that looks like a cross between a boat and a ski or even a compact jet ski with seats encased where the rider becomes a driver or maybe a glider will be more apt here.

Land speed record has always been a pretty prestigious title to hold and with growing technology and the amount of money that is being poured into the record attempts, it seems that very soon it will beat even records in low-altitude flight speeds. The current record for the fastest on land is held by Andy Green at 763 mph. But Andy along with previous land speed record holder Richard Noble, are all set to shatter that and take it past the 1000 mph come 2011 with their hot new “Bloodhound”. The Bloodhound will aim to hit an amazing 1050 mph and that is well around 1.4 mach.
