Alright, the catchy headline might seem a big vague as in terms of functionality it’s not a Matrix Unplugged chair and rather is nuclear powered. They say that the industrial finish of the chair comes from the torpedo lifting jaws of an actual nuclear powered nautical. Actually the torpedo lifting apparatus itself was an archetype that was not at all used or bulk-produced and it is this feature only that makes the chair, an elite creation with a difference. Designed and developed by Zoran Milivojevic, an artist and machinist, the chair sports working mechanical hydraulics used for regulating chair’s location and ergonomics.
And if its orange appeal is not of your kinds, then Zoran is all yours to customize the shade along with leather padding. Priced surprisingly at a fatty figure of $37,000, I am sure limited-edition tag is missing from the specks disclosed.

What’s new? The intensity of bejeweled furniture hitting the market is similar to the diamond bling added to your outfits’. But the blur image of their easy availability seems to shun their sales and hence we stand on our job to reach the right and deep pockets. The latest making up to the news after Finkeldei’s Swarovski crystal furniture offering is a striking line of Swarovski bathed upholstered furniture coming from the house of popular German furniture house, Bretz. Divulge at IMM Cologne 2008, the tailoring collection features unique crystals measuring 18mm in diameter that weighs 15 ct diamonds. Designing of built-in speakers within chairs or for that matter digital chairs or other form of digital furniture is not something new and here I have another worthy contender to add to the list of Lodge chair with built-in iPod and 02 Lounge stree-burner chair. Intelligently named as the iBose Egg Chair, it touts the circular acoustical features that justifies it being christened as the ultimate sound chamber. Coming from the 1960s era, it comes layered with black velveteen cloth.
To start with, it sports a Bose Companion 3 amplifier, satellite speaker system, a JBL OnTour handy speaker system featuring 1.5″ stereo speakers and an incorporated speaker is placed right above the user’s head.
The vibration of the bass frequencies can be felt via four fusion 6.5″ midwoofers, motorized by an Onkyo home theater handset with crossovers offering a vibrating effect underneath of the seat. The music is streamlined to this chair via Ethernet or Wireless-G from any PC or notebook running iTunes. It becomes a real sound chamber when attached with an Apple Powerbook and iTunes. Well, all music maniacs can enjoy their stay here, as this is a perfect offering that understands their senses.

Is this really designed for filthy rich? I am not the right person to comment on this and propose you to ask one who is visibly rich. Designed for your tiny tots, this chair seems to have come directly from a fairytale world but embedded Swarovski conveys doubts as no one is going to spill over its crystals for mere bed time stories. Interestingly called the I CAN SIT High Chair, these flashy chairs have been designed for teenagers. For sure, installing this chair in your kids’ room would be a blessing he wouldn’t have ever had and hence would give him the first taste of what jewels are all about.

Called the Smartchair Biofeedback Computer Chair, this ejection seat having an ergonomic design concept aims at maintaining a track of your muscle stress and hence adapts itself for utmost comfort. Its seating pad comes equipped with integrated sensors, rising and lowering springs and a comfy back pad and cushion to burn your stress or at least tone it down. If you sense that it’s not wriggling enough, the complimented touchscreen control unit enables you monitor it with your own hands. Now the only challenge before designer Jian Guan is to crunch this would-be production a bit smaller and lighter, so that it fits in well for an airplane seat.
Further, if this concept meets success in delivering everything that Guan has claimed than undoubtedly it would be the most expensive easy chair ever. And my dear deskbound bloggers can always consider on the top of must-buy list to do away with their tight flow of the day.
