Spending the winter cuddled up in the company of our fireplace is a dream most of us have. Especially when Christmas is round the corner. The joy of unpacking presents amidst a cosy fire knows no bounds. But you will agree that even though the chimney fire brings out so many happy emotions in us, the task of cleaning it isn’t a very pleasant one. And what to say about the wood chopping, without which the fire is absolutely nothing.
Faber, the Dutch maufacturer of electrical heaters, has a smart solution for us. They call it the electric fireplace SP6 and we call it class. The extremely elegant and modern device is capable of generating a friendly electrical fire that resemble the mood of actual flames.

I have always been impressed by hybrid vehicles and in my opinion, hybrid vehicles are where the future lies. Randy Chlids has designed the strange ‘Apex’, which imbibes the qualities of a truck, a car, motorcycle and even a helicopter. The vehicle runs on 4 or 6 cylinders with engines that generate 300hp. It also comes with hydro-formed chassis framework.
The body of the Apex is made of carbon, stainless steel and aluminum. The concept looks futuristic and interesting but I can’t help but wonder if it will ever reach the markets. Such fantastic sounding vehicles usually end up being a file in a computer and forgotten. However, if ever manufactured, it promises all weather suitability, a modular design, and would appeal to both the masses and the elite.

Ok, so you have planted your house with a rocking surround sound system and plasma TV. The lights further add to the ambience. Right? But one thing is missing — smells! Actually, the gadgets in question works on the fact that smells evoke memories, so much so that your thinking can be altered.
