When Sony announced at the IFA that its 40ZX1 LCD TV will now be accompanied by a standard built in wireless HD video technology, it sent a few strong ripples across. Hearing this, many companies were aghast and then there was the expected ‘me-tooing’. Panasonic and Toshiba were two of the few names involved in the follow-up claims. But it is a bit surprising that even after running demos of wireless HD video technology at CEATAC, both the brand names will not be able to bring any products into the market till late next year.
Yet another wireless pusher is Hitachi. It was doing demos on a system based around the Ultra Wideband (UWB) standard operating in the 4.2-4.8 GHz range. Hitachi has just suggested that its wireless HD technology will be a part of a new RGB LED back-lit TV which will have a separate mulitmedia reciever box. The claims have been attractive for sure, but we haven’t heard anything concrete but subtle suggestions.

When you translate the prints from Boho dresses to custom crafted and uniquely printed furniture, it might really not be to the liking of many. One must have both a very deep cultural connection and appreciation for art to really take to such pieces. The Moda Home Collection from Adriana Barra is something that incorporates the retro styling with cool new improvisations to give you a range of furniture pieces that are both unique and limited.
The collection contains stuff such as the Mini Ice Boxes which look more like stuff from the Looney Toon Land or just plain old drawings from a six year old playing with his crayons. The Mini Ice Box refrigerators are each priced at a whooping $ 7,500 and if you think that is too much to pay for the print then you are not the only one. The collection also offers a wide range of side tables and coffee tables as well. Even for the elite, this is a bit boring.

You can spend millions of dollars on something that looks cool enough, but this just seems nothing near cool. But then, it is just one person’s opinion and there are many out there who would love to have a piece from the Moda Home Collection.

Juhan Losop, better known as a RED.CHOOPER in BikerZ World has done yet another wonder by designing a custom luxury limo for a Millionaire heiress from Kazakstan, Princess Regina. MiniPimpLimo SHAGADELIC.GLAMOUR, as the car is known, is made from one of the rarest and most expensive Classic MINI modifications - MINI (The) Chelsea Edition. At the length of 5 meters 60 centimeters, it is supposed to be World Longest Driving Classic MINILIMO.
This car has an LCD TV along with extraordinary interiors befitting a royalty. Apart from this, the car boasts of having 70 TFT monitors, 30 parking sensors and 20 parking cameras fitted. The thing that gives speed to the car, its wheels are super fast, has 100 wire wheels and is arty at the same time, made as they are from swarovski crystals. The rest of the car uses more than 1,000,000 swarovski crystals. The window panes have designs made of gold weighing around 50 grams.

In the above photograph, Red Chopper has been clicked while he is working on the Limo. It is said that it took a lot of hard work and incessant patience on the part of the artist to complete it. Perhaps, one motivation was also that a Princess is going to ride his creation!
I am sure that the Princess must be adoring her new companion, especially as it gives her the freedom to ride along with her toy terriors, that too, at the speed of the wind. All i pray for is that she does not drink and drive akin Ms Hilton.

Now you needn’t be a celebrity to fufill your wish of having a cat walk on a diamond flooring ramp. Yes, LuxTouch enables you install one in your abode for $1,000,000 per sq. mt, and each square metre of marble tile screams luxury by featuring over 1000 diamonds, 2400 pieces of mother of pearl, 400 pieces of abalone shell and 500 pieces of black onyx. Lately, Pietra Firma unveiled the limited edition offering of LuxTouch range at the Monaco Yacht Show.
Each sample of LuxTouch tile, flooring or ceiling is a stand-alone magnum opus of involved facet and craftsmanship. The elite LuxTouch black marble tile sports 95 brilliant cut diamonds, mother of pearl and abalone. The heart of tile comprises of a pitch-black agate circle festooned with 19 diamonds and a mother of pearl flower petal pattern that glows outwards from the centre. Each petal is a single piece of mother of pearl inlaid with huge precious cut diamond and the black agate pieces amid the petals are also encrusted with diamonds.
Each of its four corners come inlaid with mother of pearl and abalone shell, attaining a visually appealing counter balance with the blistering flower petals.
When embossed, the diamonds sit faintly hoisted above the tiles that result in the utmost tactile and visual effect. I wonder the inexpressible sensual experience one can enjoy by walking barefoot on this LuxTouch flooring.
Thanks Bretton Putter!
