Techie artist Evan Roth is working on a project that has caught the attention of all those who enjoy the funsies. Well, we don’t know much about it but the pictures suggest that he is coming up with a communication system.
Evan has created metal plates with messages on them. These plates when being X-Rayed will flash the message inscribed on them. The finishing touches are being given before the wacky plates are launched.

In fact, Evan is looking for an X-Ray machine that he can click pictures of for documentation. So if you have one, do drop by Evan’s and he may just give you a set of his plates for goodwill’s sake.

Going retro is the way to go these days! Remember how you loved your Grand Father’s old rocking chair or your Father’s timeless car? If you can connect to it all, then you would also like to hear about the steampunk phone designed by London expert Arthur Schmitt. It gives you an old world feel by having a heavy wire cover over the earpiece, gauges, visible screws. The color scheme is also not glossy but tough brown. The best feature nevertheless is its punch cards and binary phone.
It is ideal for those who regret not being born in the bygone era!

Not all of us may have it in us to drive a super fast Catamaran but for those who have it there is R8, and for others who do not have it, there’s this blog post giving you a hassle free window shopping experience. R8 is the 8 Biocat Catamaran in posh red colour that can make a far away onlooker wonder if they are seeing a mirage of a Ferrari in water! Such is its resemblance for Ferrari that even I got taken in when I saw the photograph for the first time.
And these people are not compensating on the environment factor as their entire engine is biodiesel. This magnificent machine is as long as 29-foot and boasts of a V10 power plant. Right now this Catmaran is custom made for a rich client but if you are rich enough, who knows they might make one for you too, if you place your order.

Imagine a bike-car combo! Well, Brudelli’s leanster has turned that fantasy into a reality. It is actually a variation on the motorcycle incorporating the benefits of a two-wheeled front end for a dynamic ride but with the traction of a multi-wheeled vehicle. It is a visual delight to see this model in function. Yep, it is really cool to see the vehicle leaning at an angle of 45 degrees except for the footboards that remain parallel to the ground. The two front wheels also provide less braking distance.
Basing the machine on a lean and mean structure, this techie work of art weighs just 238 kg. As a result, the 654cc KTM engine with 47kW @ 7,500 rpm gives great acceleration thanks to the 65 Nm @ 6,550 rpm midrange all the way to 170 km/hr.
The best part is that this bike of a kind can be driven on all surfaces like tarmac roads, go-kart tracks and even the speedway tracks. The model will be launched at Intermot 2008 on October 8 and will be available in limited numbers at a price of 21,000 Euros.

Wine drinking couldn’t be so tasteful and tantalising before. For starters, Swiss artist Sylvie Fluery has conceptualised a pair of limited edition crystal wine classes for Dom Pérignon. Well, the shape of the glasses has the same seductive elegance but with a sexy twist. Each comes with its own hand printed lipstick mark. That pretty much explains the title ‘Stolen Kisses’.
Expecting to be a collector’s item, each pair of glasses comes duly signed and numbered accompanied by a bottle of Dom Pérignon’s Rosé Vintage 1998. And there are only 999 of them available, which indicates a fleeting appearance in the markets.
So, if you want to be the proud owner of a pair. Keep 600 dollars ready in your purse and a spring in your step because only that will help you survive the long wait outside the select showrooms. Yep, the demand for ‘Stolen Kisses’ is already high.

All you hi-tech and gadget loving people out there, especially if you are a writer, though that term should be rephrased with ‘typer’thanks to Microsoft Word, shut down your laptops because you will love to write, and I mean literally, because the ultimate pen you wouldn’t be able to resist to write with is here.
Inspired by the ideas of dualism, Visconti presents the Alchemy Vermeil limited edition of a fountain pen with a dual-end that allows you to write in two different ink colors or in two sizes of nibs. The red hot body has its separate barrel with Each half decorated in silver and an 18 carat gold plate engraved with symbolic elements of the Alchemy philosophy and hence the name.
A perfect collectors item; the pen can be suspended magnetically inside a display with two dragons forming a circle of life .A model display on that desk to grab attention. Limited to 1,038 pieces worldwide, it’s worth $5,500 (€3,752); to be used to sign million dollar deals! Or it could be a perfect gift to some one who loves to pen even in the era of computers or you can simply put on sheets those wonderful feelings you have always wanted to share with that special someone. Being mightier than a sword, take care not to slice a heart with it though!

Here is the biggest news for all monster bikers. A Ferrari motorcycle is in the making! You got it right! Pondering over the question- “Why there is no Ferrari motorcycle?” that rose in his office, Israeli industrial designer Amir Glinik conceptualized the Ferrari motorcycle. His design is influenced by Vintage and modern Ferrari projects and the idea is to produce a practical machine, not in any way a “star wars” future ride.
This maybe the most radical idea on this project and may take a year to be fully developed, but it sure will conquer the world with its beautiful streamlined and sleek body. Using drive-by-wire technology, the V4 super bike features hand controls adapted from an F-16 fighter jet and buttons based on those found on the steering wheel of Ferrari’s Formula 1 racecars. Other controls for the sound system and trip computer are located on an all weather touch screen. Glinik’s design also incorporates several high-tech gadget attachments, reminiscent of Ferrari cars.
Apart from the traditional Ferrari Red, Glinik also gives possibilities of a Black Bike with maybe a 5 point star aluminum rims. If Ferrari is going to enter into a new field, it might just as well incorporate more colors into its designs. Ferrari lovers can just wait before they go Vroom-Vroom!!
