Call them Botels or floating hotels, these are hotels installed within the boats offering you an interesting stay waterside. It is great way of killing your worry to hunt for a port-to-port stoppage while cruising and hence saving your time. They say the lodging offers a rocking-to-sleep impression and the sound of lapping water but I wonder if one wants similar features, why wouldn’t he go for a complete-service cruise instead. Well, there is no word on its pricing but a clear view at the interiors of the botel would enable you take a call about your visit there. Folks, who wish to stop through Stockholm, Budapest or Prague should certainly look for another staying option as these botels certainly cannot be your run-of-the-mill lodging option.

Pictured above is an ornamented bouquet exhibited at Takashimaya Department Store in Osaka. The bouquet is studded with jewelry i.e. 11.5-carat yellow diamond ring, 7 yellow gold diamond brooches and 46 Mexican opal brooches layered with silver leaves, stalks and base. Sounding like a Bat Mobile with an appeal that of a legendary car, Flatmobile is all set to enter the Guinness record for owning the world’s flattest sedan ever. Measuring 19 inches high, this revolutionary coupe is arguably the world’s lowest vehicle and powered by a jet engine, it can ride with a speed up to 100 mph. The highlighting feature of coupe is its number plate that is bordered by two missile tips. Also, there is a word of vigilance for those who covet the owner as his position is in corporeal danger with semis surrounding all over the place.

Designed, developed and tweaked by 46-year-old Perry Watkins, it won’t only turn heads but is successful in breaking few.

A small solid gold implement reckoned as the combination of toothpick and earwax spoon was identified while looking for a marooned Spanish galleon Santa Margarita that sank in a 1622 hurricane. Blue Water Ventures officials disclosed that divers discovered this 385-year-old toothpick after diving in 22 feet below the surface and 40 miles west of Key West. It is expected to be valued at more than $100,000.
Archaeologists believe this 3-inch-wide; 17th-century grooming tool was almost certainly worn on a gold chain. Other recovered products include ceramic pieces, spikes, ships’ fittings, rigging elements and two skeleton keys.

Colors indicate one’s mood and add to this the touch of bling to witness a beguiling upshot. The case in point is well exemplified by the latest offering of Swarovski-Crystal carpeting and 24k gold cork mosaic at DOMOTEX Middle East 2008 in the ‘Designers Corner.’ This seems to be the come-back of reigning days of Moghuls and Emperors, who can’t compromise but to have a filthy-rich lifestyle. Installing this gold-bathed flooring would enlighten your sense and bring warmth to your abode. I strongly believe that this opulent offering is not everyone’s cake as would tune well with the manors feeding guests with gold or silver spoon. Feel free to give your wild imagination a shape that maintains the durability of this flooring. It would surely be a blessing for your beloved’s feet.

Featured above is a distinct mobile theater created by Various Architects that indicates the Arts Alliance and their performance globally. This model was first tested upon new in-house 3D printer from Z-corporation. Lately, a 4 x 6 meter inflatable skin piece for testing has been demanded to create this model. The outer appeal of the theater is formed out of huge inflatable hexagons & a lucid inflated window pane.

The first installation of the full-blown sculpt was done at the offices of ESS based in London. This one is the first-of-its-kind inflatable model that structures like a theater. This five-screen cinematic concert enables dancers act upon in front of, behind, & amid the screens during the show. It proved successful for Yokohama harbor as there were enough containers & cranes to carry it but may raise eyebrows for its installation in urban locations. Thus, there is a dire need for a new mobile theater that can easily be transported around the world.

Once again Japan has proved its credential to deliver exceptional offering. With time, you must have realized that the death ceremony is inviting good amount of attention, thereby giving a last opportunity to do the needful or pay tribute for the deceased. While sending them off in branded coffins that define their personality is not a passe’, here we have another technology-driven way that does justice to the loved ones of the deceased by installing a multimedia tombstone to their name.
Now what does this multimedia feature means? A Japan-based company called Ishinokoe has executed QR technology to furnish gravestones with cell phone accessible hyperlinks that directs visitors to a website allowing them instant view of images, words and videos from the deceased person’s life.
The QR code allows guests to view a salutation from the deceased person’s “principal mourner” together with any messages left in the grave’s guestbook. Not, I am wondering about the possibility of training the morticians about spam blocking techniques and IT support. Equally eye-watching is the news of booking a space trip for the deceased.
