Abaya, the simplest form of dressing accepted by Islamic religion was picked by British couture designer Bruce Oldfield. The bejeweled Abaya features 4,668 diamonds weighing 359.7 grams of white gold. Bruce in association with Crosley Diamonds based in London has unveiled this luxury called World’s Most Expensive Abaya.

Potts dealing with this creation have ventured into incorporating a wallet feature (detachable) into the arch of the sole with a port-like look, hence adding a lot of sense to his company’s name ArchPorts.

These shoes would surely create a buzz in the market with growing passion for innovative products. They are open to house cash, credit cards, ID, keys and other random items. Good part is it allows you to confiscate the contents without taking away your shoes. The soles are assembled using lightweight polyurethane and EVA materials, providing a higher level of comfort via its cushioning. Measuring one-inch thick, this could be a slim addition to your short-height personality. The durability of the shoes is tested to have a life of five-years. Available in slider and flip-flop style, the shoes are vaialble in small, medium, large and Xtra-large size.

Whist 1 June 2008 marked a gloomy day for the fashion industry and proved to be a weighted loss for fashionistas as French fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent’s passed away. A month after, the fashion house planned an auction at Christie’s on 2 July. The auction collectibles include seven pieces of Saint Laurent’s attire & jewels featuring nearly every decade of his career. Popularly known as a style-setter, he was the most influential designer of the 20th century and his designer creations details pop-art print mini dresses, peasant skirts and graceful pantsuits that are appreciated till date. To be specific, the collection includes a 1958 Cocktail dress designed for Dior & a 1970 Rive Gauche camel cable knit sweater spruced in fox fur alike to the one that Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis wore bearing a pre-sale estimate of $250-$400. A gray pink tulle twilight dress with tinny pink and silver embroidery, designed for Dior in 1958 is anticipated to generate a sum of about $1000-$1500.

Expensive Wedding Dress Yes, the much-in news blingy silhouette is a platinum wedding dress featured in London as part of the Hatton Garden Jewellery Week. Bearing a price tag of £240,000 almost ten-times the price of standard weddings dresses making up to shows, the ultra-luxurious dress is designed by Italian Mauro Adami using 40 meters of textile spun from silk and platinum thread.

Known as a lead designer of Domo Adami, the couture wedding dresses can be purchased from its show room in Milan. Adami crafts hail from Italy and abroad, and this dress can be seen as his growing ‘passion for brides’ since childhood. Pictured above is a wedding dress that resides currently in the window of the Wedding Ring Shop in Hatton Garden and is the attraction of the carnival, held every year to rejoice the street’s record of creativity and craftsmanship.
