There is no dearth of high-tech elite workstations but a new revolutionary entrant is always welcomed. Called the Emperor Workstation, its appeal justifies its title and seems to be a creation that has landed from the world of Star Wars. Inspired by the Emperor scorpion’s tail, it gets onto its job with a mere press of a button. A slight push at the Emperor’s tail area mounts to permit the user have a comfy seating and then lowers back into spot facing three monitors at an ideal elevation and viewpoint for perfect screening comfort. Besides three large monitors for a striking view, the Emperor features THX Dolby surround sound, air filtering, light therapy, webcam, battery backup, and a lot of other necessary stuff.
Little must be you aware that the workstation is compatible with a desktop Mac or PC along with the chief docking station ever for laptops. This one no wonder is a perfect blend of art and technology and fortunately not a concept. Expected to hit the market coming July, the company is currently silent about its price figures. If you ask me, it deserves a five-figure tag!

What’s new? Ask any extravagant soul about his next destination to flaunt his existence in luxury world and he will open up his mouth pointing any designer showroom engaged in the production of luxury apparels or furnishings. The intensity of bejeweled furniture hitting the market is similar to the diamond bling added to your outfits’. But the blur image of their easy availability seems to shun their sales and hence we stand on our job to reach the right and deep pockets. The latest making up to the news after Finkeldei’s Swarovski crystal furniture offering is a striking line of Swarovski bathed upholstered furniture coming from the house of popular German furniture house, Bretz. Divulge at IMM Cologne 2008, the tailoring collection features unique crystals measuring 18mm in diameter that weighs 15 ct diamonds. Amongst the gamut of available furniture products, the one that invited my attention is The Marilyn sofa and the Pompadour high armchair available in variety of shades i.e. red, gold, white and black. Free feel to install one that matches your décor.

The Marilyn sofa comes encrusted with around 100 original swarovski crystals, deeply attached in settee upholstery whilst the swivel Pompadour armchair is seen bearing a touch of glossy aluminum trumpet base and round pompadour stool.

Call it the best example of a magnificent minimalism or compact functionality, it deserves all. Adding to my running list of hi-tech workstations, here stands a feature packed majestic workstation developed to make a difference to the available desks. Called the myP.O.D workstation, this intelligent creation by designer Peter J. Sucy is comes equipped with one big curve that goes well with its vast design and sports an adjustable seating, custom-built PC set up with adaptable monitors, a keyboard and the omnipresent mouse. It offers a space no less than a room for all sundry office essentials.
The easy accessibility to things around makes me say that ‘Perfect’ is too less a word to describe it. The myP.O.D workstation accommodates your tid-bits and bookshelf embellishments that reside high above your head on a rack. You can place your needful documents tactically at diverse levels and before I skip, the workstation is saturated with vivid yet gentle light civility low energy LEDs.

Now its time to face some reality: Not that aforementioned info is fake but has a potential to turn reality if corporate moguls approach designer and convince him to make this concept functional.

Designing of built-in speakers within chairs or for that matter digital chairs or other form of digital furniture is not something new and here I have another worthy contender to add to the list of Lodge chair with built-in iPod and 02 Lounge stree-burner chair. Intelligently named as the iBose Egg Chair, it touts the circular acoustical features that justifies it being christened as the ultimate sound chamber. Coming from the 1960s era, it comes layered with black velveteen cloth.
To start with, it sports a Bose Companion 3 amplifier, satellite speaker system, a JBL OnTour handy speaker system featuring 1.5″ stereo speakers and an incorporated speaker is placed right above the user’s head.
The vibration of the bass frequencies can be felt via four fusion 6.5″ midwoofers, motorized by an Onkyo home theater handset with crossovers offering a vibrating effect underneath of the seat. The music is streamlined to this chair via Ethernet or Wireless-G from any PC or notebook running iTunes. It becomes a real sound chamber when attached with an Apple Powerbook and iTunes. Well, all music maniacs can enjoy their stay here, as this is a perfect offering that understands their senses.

Here comes a new designer form of a bed that is pricey but worth installing. Called Canopy Bed accredited to Phyllis Morris, the bed was built in 1970s and comes tinted with a matte white. The elegant design and striking appeal catches all interest and gives you a reason to bring it home. With no other information available about its specks, I would suggest you to inquire more details at your end before inking a deal. Casasugar personally didn’t like this bed and feels the dire need to revamp its structure or appeal.
