Designed with a creative touch of designer FurnID, the Dekka daybed bagged the “Bo Bedre’s Furniture Award 2007? at the Copenhagen International Furniture Fair. The designer is successful in designing an exclusive piece of furniture by making a perfect blend of Danish and Arab design traditions.

Dekka is a blend of traditional skills and industrial dispensation, stiff and spongy, beam and shade, dull and sparkly, flamboyant and simplicity, lop-sidedness and severity, and also artistic and utility. The trellis pattern is cushioned onto a refined aluminum frame giving it a look and feel of an installed masterpiece than any other piece of furniture.
The fabric used is polished aluminum and the asymmetrical hexagon figures reflects the Arab design while a Danish touch can be felt through the soft curves. The attention-grabbing padding is hand made by Heidi.

What gathers attention here is the fact is not the concept as the live pieces of furniture are available for $48,182 (EUR 34,000).

What is it? It was my first obvious reaction after seeing this ghostly furniture. And not when I am familiar with it I won’t let you wonder but to say WOW!
Accepted, the furniture is designed not to offer comfort as there is something above than that—the unique designer aspect. I am sure by now your place must be populated with variety of furniture but please sit calmly for five-minutes and analyze the existing really and question yourself is it really worth?

Albeit they serve all your purposes, still the answer is NO! It is because certain things that may seem purposeless to you now may be of great relevance in another hour. And this elite piece of furniture exemplifies it well.
The ingredients used for this furniture include chosen parts of used car and bike, cast-off metal gears adding exclusivity to each product. I am sure one needs a lot of courage to bring home this unique furniture. The designer furniture is available in almost every form viz. full-size and small-size glass tables, bar stools, Big Boss chairs, glass oval-table and coffee tables.
I am sure there must be many earthy creatures accompanying me to handpick this unearthly furniture and bring home this masterpiece. The price range of the furniture varies from £67.50 to £2250.
