Jaume Tresserra, a celebrated Spanish designer who has made up to the headlines for designing revolutionary armchair for Tim Burton Batman movie is now ready to unveil his another mind blowing creation. Dubbed as the Carlton House Butterfly table, it is one-of-the-kind furniture item ever produced. The elite concept offers space for car keys, key pads, and other small, sundry yet important stuff like letters, reminder-slips and others.

Christened after Prince Regent’s London residence, Carlton House, its interiors are equipped with nickel metal fittings and the craftsmanship is apparent via its buttress up vaulted wings plus silver plated legs. It clearly impersonates butterfly tentacle. The table is available in dark and light shades with two gigantic drop lids. It can be yours if you are willing to drop £11,500 ($23,000). I can say, the price justifies the efforts investment and is not an over charge.

While working for long in the past, how many times can you recall of having slept at computer desk only? Endless! And next morning you were informed by your mom that you lay down there followed by a good-old shalokas that I don’t want to pen down here (we all are well versed with them and have our own way to counter). But not to forget moms can never be wrong, wrong sitting or sleeping posture affects our health.
Covering that need, here is what I have for you, at least for all geeks: “The computer bed”. It is an ordinary bed that makes a witty use of the space under the table. Operated from gas-assisted pistons, it is often referred to as instinctive in nature. In actuality the gas piston dampens the likely action of mass transfer from bed to desk to bed. This kind of transfer of responsibility is highly appreciable. Having realized in 2002 that this Murphy concept bed is a perfect example of perfection, this bed came into production and today claims to be the one-of-its-kind metal bed frame with wooden slat foundation. These beds are brought to America from Europe and are valued at $3650 (inclusive of mattress).

This unique and contemporary creation of porcelain-like Uterus Vase by The Plug and Stéphanie Rollin is from the limited edition of 20 pieces made up of polish and glaze around a resin center. The concept behind this vase is to reinstate decorum to an over-utilized representation. At first sight, it is no less than a vessel whose outline and conclusion distress led to hesitant mind-set. In today’s era, everyone is well versed with the form of the female reproductive organ, thanks to illustrations and graphics in biology or anatomy books but till date one hesitates talking about it openly.
Nonetheless, the statuary exquisiteness of this silky porcelain-like vase of pure pastiness gives its decorum back to an inherent human topic that these days has become the distinguished theme of over-consumed erotic metaphors. The mysterious infamy of its form, as for it, depicts the true profundity of the theme reverentially perceived by its inventor.

We at elitechoice have been introducing you to various forms of fireplaces suspended, static and multimedia driven to kill your cold. But don’t you think installing fireplace just with a selfish motive to do away with frozen ambiance is a restriction? Truly, it is as if you sit down and explore the existence of fireplaces that are operational to do their job besides adding beauty to your abode then there are many. Doing away with the earlier introduced suspended fireplaces, diva-gas fireplace, bloch designer fireplace, radius design fireplace, steel stove minus glass fireplace; One revolutionary option that I came across is bringing home fire bowls.

Structured in the form of bowls (huge ones), they will definitely bring a silent and much-needed but never realized makeover to your living. It is not only the bowl form that seems appealing but there also exists water bowls with eternal flame. The idea is to represent all the natural elements viz. earth, air, fire and water at a given site to stabilize yin and yang. Likewise dubbed as water bowl, it is a perfect blend of visible fire and water with metal bowl representing earth and the movement of the blaze reproduced in water provides shape to the breeze. All four!

Amonst the 49 fire bowls available, few that invited my attention are in-ground corten steel fire arc with acid etched tree, copper fin bowl, floating fire arc with cut-out palms, stainless steel lotus fire bowl, 12ft curved corten radiating slab with arc bench, square dish, fire vine, floating cut-out water bowl and fire stack.

Just with a mere click of a mouse, this room can revolve at 180 degrees - from cherished dialogue to big screen amusement. To utilize the most out of home theater space, a Tennessee family has lately installed a revolutionary floor that swivels the obverse seats 180 degrees to visage the second row, thereby offering a more natural setting for recreation.

This 16-foot revolving spherical floor is power-driven by four motors and restricted via remote. The theater door is also monitored by remote and can be folded from the floor in 12 sections plus looks like a Chinese hand fan. Casa Cinema takes pride in offering an elite theater design while Visual Concepts takes care of installation.

The inclined walls at this space provide some acutely reverberant acoustics. Visual impression also presents absorptive fiberglass acoustical panels that look like ornamental elements when hung upon side walls. It enables monitoring of sound from the 7.1-channel audio system power-driven by a Marantz SR8500 receiver pumping 125 watts to Atlantic Technology 4200 series speakers. All the illumination, including LEDs (light-emitting diodes) adjoining the spinning floor, on the maximum and beneath the staircase is monitored by a Lutron system.

The erection of this theater was done as an initiative to build a home during a Parade of Homes showcase, offering them a surprising ride. Above all, the 35-foot entrance hall to the theater presents a starfield—residing in the carpet and not in the ceiling.

Here we have another interesting piece of art that can be installed as a furniture accessory. Aptly labeled as a ‘Foot Chair,’ the designer chair is curved out skillfully in the form of a gigantic human foot. The very look at this designer chair would make you feel that it is an idiosyncratic piece of modern day furnishings. There is no information available on the grounds of kind of material used and cost involved but to the best of my understanding the material is black wood. To my non-surprise and your much-surprise, the elite chair offers comfort to sit on. It is a ready-to-install furniture piece in a scary age-old room that demands an instant refurbish.

You aren’t really a reading type soul but your lasting desire to design a library in your new home, populated with books is still alive. So, where is the solution? Beg, borrow or steal doesn’t apply here. To give a deserving respect to the allocated area of library, which at present seems no less than an attic one should explore the stuff available at the New York City Strand Bookstore. The available books here are priced by the foot. Price varies from $20 a foot to $400 a foot for leather-bound 19th century novels. This would be a neat deal to deck-up your empty library with the right stuff without making much effort on an otherwise routine of mounting up a lifetime of volumes.
