Along with the Tiffany & Co. brooch that demanded a whooping sum of $15, 0000; there is a yellow emerald-cut diamond necklace demanding a whopping sum of $1.2 million. It was my small visit to an online shop that offered me a wide experience. A whole bouquet of pricey-items ranging from household, jewelry, furniture, gadgets and anything or everything is residing here. Thanks to my scheduled wedding that I am in full spree with courage to pay demanding price of the worthy accessories. To my non-surprise, the prices of the wedding rings available were as low as $829 and as whopping as $2,699. What gathered my attention is the latter one viz. Floral Ring bathed in 18k White Gold and 2 1/3ct TDW Diamond.
The stop is over-populated with the distinguished variety of the rings for groom and bride. Whilst for Bride, the shop offers One-of-a-kind rings, Engagement Rings, Three-Stone Rings; the groom is offered with a choice amongst Diamond Rings, Platinum Rings, Titanium Rings, Tungsten Rings, and Cubic Zirconia rings.

Then my next target was wedding bands and I can’t afford to go with any ordinary band as the handpicked ring is diamond-encrusted. Ranging from $7000 to $200, the variety is quite-interesting. The sleek look of the matching 18k White Gold 5 ct TDW Diamond Eternity Band was my obvious end-to shopping as it demanded a bulky sum $6,200 that i ended being broke for the day. But all would-be brides reading this should not be afraid to visit this shop as the quality of the jewels justifies its price and make you feel the QUEEN of the universe.

If jewelry makes you go crazy, then pay homage to the exhibition of Verdura jewels scheduled from 16 November 2007-17 February 2008 at the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
Dating back to 1930’s, the wide collection of original design flaunted at “Verdura: The Life and Work of a Master Jeweler in The Lester and Sue Smith Gem Vault” is unbeatable and worth visiting. There is no comparison of the masterpieces designed by Duke Fulco di Verdura (1898-1978) with that of other designers from 20th century.
He would raise the jewelry to the status of an art. Born a Sicilian Duke, he started his career with Coco Chanel. The great source of inspiration behind his artistic creation was classical patterns together with natural forms. Lightened with passionate shades and infused with a refined wit, the collection includes pine cone brooch, amoeba brooch, lion spaw brooch, lily valley brooch and much more. His designs were worn by iconic women of taste including Joan Crawford; Princess Diana; Doris Duke; Katharine Hepburn; Nan Kempner and Greta Garbo.

Identified as one of the unique gems in the world, a flawless blue diamond is now being honored as the most expensive gemstone in the world. The 6.04-carat diamond has been sold for $7.98 million at Sotheby’s auction in Hong Kong. To my non-surprise, the flawless blue diamond fetched $1.32 million per carat. The sale has beaten the record made 20-years-back by the ‘Hancock Red’ — a red diamond that generated $926,000 per carat at Sotheby’s.

The blessed buyer is ‘Moussaieff Jewellers’ based in London and he is glad to purchase this diamond from a private Asian collector, as it would be an addition to his rare collection of precious jewels. Blue diamonds are known for captivating the filthy rich gentry with glittering dark charisma. True, it is not the largest stone but its revered cut and ‘vibrant blue’ hue beats every other benchmark. Its revered cut and ‘vibrant blue’ hue is what justifies its bulky price that is almost 10 times the per-carat price of regular white diamonds.
The blue tinge is due to the presence of boron in the gem’s crystal formation. Unlike other colorful diamonds viz. pink and red that are mined in various sites across the globe, ‘blues’ are found very rare and that too in the Premier Mine located in South Africa.

Gianmaria Buccellati jewelry is known for its handcrafted patterns following Renaissance-era techniques. Above displayed pair of Magnolia Flower earrings exemplify it well. Its intricate design is what catches eyeballs. Presented in pricked or clip fashionable chic style, the earrings gauge 1¼” diameter and are up for sale at Gump’s for $9,000. Both Magnolia Brooch and Earrings have delicately patterned 18-karat white gold petals that magnificently enclose the core designed using 18-karat yellow gold.

Here is a bling not only for the fisherman but also for the filthy rich. I am sure you would fall prey to this and would end up blaming your lack of sleep or over dose of alcohol. This is even stranger than the fiction. Let me demystify the mystery designed by Mac Daddy.
We’ve seen gold-encrusted gadgets and diamond jewelry and other world’s most expensive products but now this masterstroke is festooned with diamond and ruby. No, it’s not a necklace but a fishing lure that starts with a price of $1 mn. No doubt, this astounding product is making people go crazy but the lure is such that people cannot restrict their desires. To some it may sound absurd but for others it has become their next lavish desire.

As an entity, this beautiful product is driving curiosity and is festooned with 3lbs of gold and platinum along with 100 carets of diamonds and rubies. Well, this portrays it as an ornamental installment first than being a $1 million lure. I wish this reaches the rights ears (of course lavish fisherman), who can afford to buy it.

What do you want as your Christmas gift this year? A $1.44-million shiny submarine, $75,000 Swami Conversational Robot, $73,000 flashy diamond-encrusted cellphone or his-and-her portraits painted from chocolate syrup featured in the lately released Christmas Book by Neiman Marcus. Ooops, this doesn’t suffice your lavish desires?
The Christmas book offers much more but you need to hold your breath before I could reveal other outrageous offerings. How about a private concert with Russia’s Kirov Orchestra? Just at $1.59 million, you with your counted 499 friends can enjoy the soft music by pianist Lola Astanova, led by maestro Valery Gergiev, in a show hosted by Regis Philbin.

These were the array of gifts offered by luxury retailer Nieman Marcus in its mood to celebrate the occasion of its 100th anniversary. This 81st edition of the Christmas Book was mailed across 1.8 million people from elite class and is easily available online.
The gifts range starts from something as modest as a mug equipped with $20 pretzels, $2.3 million for four hectares in Montana, $35,000 US dragon topiary, which is 30 meters long and equipped with gold-leafed horns, claws, teeth and fins along with $1,590,000 private holiday concert hosted by Regis Philbin featuring the Kirov Orchestra. Folks who love flying on wings can also give some rest to their wallet as the book also features $2 million rocket that can fly on a “racetrack” about 300 metres in the air together with 50 special edition Lexus cars.
