When I read about the story of this long lost Champagne bottle making their way to stardom, I was literally amazed. Imagine a bottle of Champagne sinking in the sea because of a shipwreck some eighty years back has found its way back, and what a come back!
This 1907 Heidsieck champagne fetched a $275,000 tag at the Ritz-Carlton in Moscow. And there are more than 200 such bottles belonging to the bygone era. It is being said that the bottles were shipped for a Russian Imperial family at the time when it met the fatal accident.
I am sure that had the roman god of Wine seen this, he would have shied away!

“The pen is mightier than the sword” wrote Edward Bulwer-Lytton. Little did he know that in future it will be ‘costlier’ also than most things! While it might disappoint our friends who have leftist inclination, the fact is, that pen, once considered a weapon of the intellectuals, has now become a status symbol. Well I am not going to crib or cry about that. If we can spend millions on our silly whims and fantasies, splurging on the good ol’ pen does make sense to me. ( to be taken with a pinch of salt!)
The new Maserati sterling silver pen is designed by none other than Armando Simoni, the true blue native of Italy. Only thing is, he makes a rinascimento in luxury goods! A total of 1,914 pens is all that the company is launching, in memory of the year when the company was established (1,914) as a status symbol.
The pens are available in roller and fountain both. The roller ball costs $2500 and the fountain one is appropriately priced at $2750.

The way the majestic mugals bathed in luxury five hundred years back is still unmatched. The specially designed hamams were filled with rose essence and the temperature of water was controlled by falling it over a wall heated by lighting thousands of candles. They understood that bathing is not just a matter of hygiene but a relaxing luxury. Today’s life is easy and we do not have to take all the pains the mughals took to have a relaxing bath. The simplest thing you can do is to buy yourself a Kohler Fountainhead VibrAcoustic Bath. Interestingly, this system works on sound waves, music and LED lighting. The tub has a control panel located at the side of the tub, apart from having a remote control.
There are features to control the temperature of water or to add or remove water from the tub, all at a click of a button. More than that, you can also adjust the sound waves, the volume and the type of music and also the brightness of the light. Kohler Fountainhead VibrAcoustic Bath is reasonably priced $9000, considering the innovative features that it offers.

Over lunch at Madame Clicquot’s Country House, Andrea Crippa, Directeur Marketing & RP International for Veuve Clicquot, in association with Porsche Design are launching a unique concept in the form of a ice bucket. The product was showcased in an equally unique manner- at a lunch party at Madame Clicquot’s Country House, Andrea Crippa, Directeur Marketing & RP International.
The hi-tech ice bucket got life after 5 years of R&D. You simply need to put in the bottle of wine inside the box and you will get a cool drink around 20 minutes later. The bottle will stay chilled for at least 4 hours afterwards. There is no scope for improvemet as far as design and looks is concerned. So all said and done, this is your best bet in the market (when it will be finally launched in 2009).

Not all of us have the means and the luck to fly a jet, but can still give wings to our fantasy by dreaming about it. Science has taken our dream one step ahead by developing simulators that can make one feel as if one is actually flying a jet.
The recently introduced SX02 Flight Simulator promises to give you first hand flying experience albeit air crash and all. Fascinating enough, but I am sure that the price of the simulator would be a damper for most of us. Spending $9,500 is not everybody’s cup of tea so most of us can only window shop the simulator! Or you may go to our earlier post where we have scanned all the simulators to give you the top 11. For now, let me describe this dream machine a little more.

The SX02 claims to be the mother of all flight simulators as it comes along with surround sound and surround screens to make the experience as close to reality as possible. It comes along with HOTAS Joystick and a tension adjustable hand throttle too. Price is the only factor that is not so perfect in this otherwise perfect piece but as they say, All good things come with a price tag attached!

Here is the prospective contender for the choosy race to design world’s most expensive golf ball marker. Those sporty folks with an admiration for blingy products can witness it as an inviting opportunity to ink deal with glossy golf accessory coming from the house of Shano, an established name in the production of golf ornaments. Sporting platinum and diamond, the golf ball marker flaunts 1/2 of a carat of white VS diamonds measuring 1″ in diameter and 1/10″ in thickness.
Priced at $10,200, they still fall behind the pricey model of the TriMark marker retailed for $10,500. If you ask me then I am game for a new rider as the elite design is quite appealing.

A one-time shot may costs $2,500 against the cost of the Louis XIII Black Pearl Magnum Bottle, which stands at $80,000. This gives a reason enough to commemorate the precious moments by by banging off a deluxe champagne or cognac. Doing justice to the personae of filthy rich, the pricey Louis XIII Black Pearl Magnum is exclusively available at Rose Club of the The Plaza hotel, New York. It is being said that the cost of single shot is comparable to standard monthly lease for an apartment house in New York. The individuality of this Remy Martin-produced drink can be realized by the fact that it is not available anywhere across New York even as a taster.
Hand-blown from black crystal, the pearl magnum is nicely designed by Baccarat and still remains uncorked since its introduction in June. A small calculation depicts at $2,500, you can get a dose of 32 pours in the 1.75 liter bottle. Big news: Even though it demands a fat price, the bottle is not available for sale.
