Featured here is a contemporary mode of living, which is aptly described by designer Markus Michalski as a “furniture or micro architecture.” Christened as Pillo, it falls essentially as a part of a series of carbon fiber rods roofed in textile that can be effortlessly extended or warped for easy transfer. Direct a beam of light there and you will feel the warmth. This pillo lamp unwraps as a little fort for adults that can also perform as an inimitable focal spot and illumination foundation in a room. Visibly, the mention of word “concept” next to it poses a big question about its early availability. But no one has stopped us from admiring concepts and applauding deserving designers behind them.

If you have a preset thinking that workstations = work then its time to revise your perceptions. And the case in point is an elite exception well pointed by the creation of Zero-Gee Ergonomic workstation (pictured above). This workstation cum recliner addresses a new meaning to the comfort level and seems to promote sleep than work. Its horizontal standing faces an integrated computer monitor. I can’t say about you but at least for me working while lying on such workstation means yawning followed by a sound sleep as it takes away all my energy to concentrate. A tight upright position keeps me alert and on the job and also I don’t see a single reason spilling dollars over any such masterpiece that takes me off from doing the needful.

The adaptable height is monitored by air that merely rotates its supporting glass rectangles and surprisingly you will discover the 20 figures of kamasutra under the mattress. To enjoy the most of this piece of furniture, turn on the lights placed under the base during the night time and enjoy a ride over its flying carpet.
