IFA, world’s largest consumer electronics fair in Berlin is in full swing engaging the nerds and geeks. Lately, the German trade journal AUDIO claims to unveil the worlds most expensive HiFi system for enthusiasts. Those interested in attending a presentation have to bear the pain of waiting in long queue. The elite Hi-fi system is known to produce the sound to the fullest. The model is designed to do justice to your 25m² living rooms.

Expectant mothers cannot settle at anything less curious for their babies and hence keep on making efforts to gather random stuff that may invite the attention of a newly-born kid. And if you have noticed then each of piled up collection gets converted into phone, enabling mothers to let their month-old baby talk to his dad, who is at work. Replacing the pretentious phone figures of stuffed animals or plastic fruits, here stands a designer teddy bear from Kuma with functionality of a mobile phone. Exhibited at the 2008 Good Design Expo by cellular provider Willcom, the Kuma phone sports a SIM card inside similar to that of a standard phone model and can store up to four speed dial numbers (one for each paw-squeeze).

Call it a space-crunch issue or privacy involved; folding screens from Japan were measured as no less than a dividing wall to do away with that unwanted presence of objects that may disgrace you upon your guests visit. You may not qualify as a nerd as R2 has revised its functionality to a refrigerator against its earlier appearances facilitating gadget and robot needs. Dubbed as R2 mini fridge, the tall, handsome and ultra lusturous refrigerator was developed in 2002 as a reward for an Attack of the Clones contest scheduled at 7-11 Stores of Japan. Measuring 64cm x 51cm x 35cm, the customized feature of the fridge allows you to set it feature its hot or cold effect thereby servinbg you with cold icecream and hot soup. Beware, if you continue playing with its hot-cold/ cold-hot functionality then chances are you may not be able to preserve drinks.
