All Tech Kings and Queens, it is Friday today and let me remind you it’s time to take an off from your blogging desk and have a relaxing weekend. With scorching sun outside, I would propose you to stay at home and cherish the company of a feature-packed bedroom on an elite bed. Updating the list of hi-tech beds detailing 360-degree rotating bed, computer bed, ceiling bed, sofa-cum-bed and James-Bond digital bed, here stands the Elite bed from Hollandia. The bed features a DVD/CD changer, iPod docking station, a retractable 32-inch flat panel TV and a surround-sound system. But conscious about your health, the bed provides more than an exercise in horizontal entertainment by offering 12 massage programs, telescoping head supporting, a mechanical head and foot tuning system that raises each half of the mattress to take weight off the minor back.

If your kids are so fond of the Pirates of the Caribbean, how about getting them one home? Pinch yourself, as this is possible with a custom-built bed right from the Pirates of the Caribbean that unfolds as a play area. This is one thing that your kids would surely welcome. Seemingly pirate ship from a distance, this Pirate Ship Bed is all set to welcome only kits. Adults not allowed for simple reason they won’t fit in!
It dons the similar authentic pirate ship appeal and credit for that goes to its wooden feel, which is offered by a forward deck with a sail, working portholes, a wooden anchor plus four cannons on peak. You can also opt for a brass bell that comes as an on-demand accessory with this designer bed. But someone has rightly said, luxurious comfort doesn’t come cheap and following to this rule, it demands $6650 for an ordinary edition and $8050 for a complete version stuffed with bells and skulls.

Designer furniture has always interested me. And best is the flavor of unusualness attached to it. Whilst days back, I featured custom furniture developed from auto parts by Jake Chop Shop, today I have World Class Exotics creation of couches, desks, and bars designed using parts of coupe models viz. Lamborghini and Porsche. At a drop of mere cost, you can take pride in holding such high-end models in this form.
Using cart parts, the company alters front ends, rear ends, and sides into settees, desks and bars. They have also offered full size beds out of car bodies. Calculating the cost involved including car parts and labor, it would prove to be a bargain for you. The base model of couch is priced at $3,700, whilst the working taillights along with integrated bar is retailed at $4,500. Desks and beds are also constructed demanding $4,500 and $9,100 respectively. Those who want to bring exclusivity to their home should ask for exotic furniture on demand. There is no other constraint to the company except your imagination; this is the motto of the company.

The 36th International Exhibition of Invention has witnessed the presence of almost 700 plus creative minds from across the globe. Amongst the pool of products, the duo that rotated the eye lids of audience there including me is the Self Making Bed designed by Enrico Berruti and ‘Trespolo’ by Italian Cosimo Letteriello. These creations are clearly developed for too lazy or too smart geeks. Had I being asked to tag the event, I would have donned it as ‘For Extremist Geeks’.
Dubbed as “Selfy the EasyBed,†the self-making bed together with its two lateral arms can handle any bed linen and features machinery on its edges with tubes on which one wraps the sides of the duvet linen. A small push of the button would activate the tubes to flat over duvet linen, while the belts at the side will squeeze and offer finish to the sheet. Plans are to start with its commercialization soon if it manages to get a positive response.
The Trespolo (tripod) is a case that can be transformed into a workstation for your emergency requirement in absence of tables. Its portable feature is what would make it the first thing to be picked by any geek while travelling.
