Aptly said: “Old is Gold.” After a never-ending saga about Vintage cars, it’s turn for vintage Jeans. We all love to live in present with the reveries of past and with a great hope for future. Right?? Neatorama lately scanned into ebay and came out with an inviting piece of news for brand-addicted Gen X. Pictured above is a pair of vintage jeans that says it all. This aged pair of LEVI’S jeans is over 100-years old and was picked from a mine located in the Rand Mining District, on the Mojave Desert, California. Donned in candle wax melted from the candles used by miners then to beam the burrow they was operational in, the jeans was found along with an ancient paper bag bearing the name of a mercantile store that was open between 1895 and 1898 in the town or Randsburg.
I am surprised to hear that out of the 48 bids made so far, the highest running figure has touched a mark of $17,600. I am pretty confident that in another 8-hours (only time left), it would reach the proud bidder after generating a deserving sales amount.

For attending a nature’s call, we all make efforts to install the personality toilets starting from designer, geeky and gilded one. But what about those installed at public places and are in clear juxtaposition to one reached at eBay, demanding a whooping sum of $89,000 each. The sophisticated public toilet features graffiti, impact-resistant stalls, programmed doors, faucets, dryers, soap dispensers, and also an integrated emergency 9-1-1 button. It is the result of initiative taken by Seattle officials to set right their gaffe (that’s what they feel) of having spent $5 million of city’s cash on self-cleaning community toilets around 5 years ago.

Neighbors disclose that these communal facilities are inviting drug users and prostitutes. Five of these cost-effective German-made structures are all set to undergo auction at eBay with a starting bid of $89,000 each, which undoubtedly is a constipated sum. Another nine days left to ink this neat deal.

Commonly known for her appearances on shows like Live With Regis and Kelly, MSNBC’s Hot List and The Today Show; Cat takes pride being an American TV personality for her former role as co-host for television program Call for Help on the TechTV, now known as G4techTV after its merger with G4 in May 2004. Her exhaustive profile is a clear question to the thought that the tech world is a male-driven territory that subside women. I would here choose to be silent and let you go with her flow of lively responses to the thrown questions.
Introduce yourself to my readers and take us to your average flow of day at work?
My name is Catherine Schwartz, but you can call me Cat. I wake up to my son saying something amazing in a 2 year old voice. It’s the best. I write and write, then I request some gadgets, then fedex brings gadgets that I then plug in. Then I attempt to play with yesterday’s gadgets until it’s time to go get Jack. We eat and watch TV. It’s the best. Then he says something wonderful in that voice of his and I got to sleep.
Since 2003, you have been engaged developing high-tech ways for distributing TV content over the Web. Take us through this journey of yours and introduce us to few exciting ways you have worked upon.
I used to host a TV show on TechTV and now I report on consumer electronics for parents on shows such as the TODAY show and your local news
I also work for eBay as the “eBay Gadget and Toy Director” as well as run my blog HiTechMommy. I also raise an amazing boy that I named Jack after my great grandfather, Jack Schwartz.
In early 2005, you along with your friend Wynter Mitchell ventured into podcasting hosted on Libsyn. Since then there is no update on any offerings in this niche. Is there any significant reason for this?
We’ve been super lazy. She and I still kick it and have actually been approached to do a video blog… but we’ll see. It would actually be pretty great. She and I have a good time together and she’s amazing.
Whom do you admire the most in the blogging community and why?
Ryan Block of engadget. I don’t know how the heck he does it. So many great posts within so little time.
It seems you have addiction for gadgets. Can my readers know which are those three gadgetry possessions that you can’t afford to miss while stepping out?

Can you introduce us to few gadgets that can make mommies or would-be mommy day easier?
That recorder thing, my LG swivel screen portable DVD player and the amazingly simple step2 play sink… works wonders for kids.
Tell us about your ‘must-read’ or favorites blogs?
Popgadget, Engadget and Momlogic
What is that first gadget that you gifted to your son?
He took over my sidekick LX and never gave it back . You should just give them their own phone that actually turns on. It seems excessive but I’m telling you it’s better than them ruining yours.

It was only 10 days ago that I was floating smiles all over as Tim Burton era Batmobiles reached eBay, giving me a reason to ink a neat deal. But my happiness went two-fold when the auction was removed as I have a second good option to invest my money into i.e. Airwolf replica that is currently open for bidding at eBay .
Regrettably this Airwolf didn’t have any history of being allied to any TV series, but was developed for a helicopter museum located in Tennessee. Built on an accessible Bell 222A airframe and the side panels, its nose panels and other details replicates the real Airwolf’s specs and plans.
Check out the video:
Likewise the series, the helicopter museum doesn’t exist any more and hence all the collection is up for sale. Currently, the last bid made is $38,900, but fortunately the reserve is still not met. If by any chance you are making up your mind to bid for it then factor in the feature that it is just a replica and can’t really be flown out of your furtive mountain base.

Those of you who are real 80’s baby then you can easily recall watching the live-action Batman show at Six Flag’s Great Adventure around 1989. That was a re-enactment of certain scenes from the flick, complete with an imitation of the Batmobile. But the one pictured above is above is a real deal. One ruthless eBay seller is gazing to get rid of one of the five actual Batmobiles from the Tim Burton classic demanding a sum of $500,000 at eBay. This operational coupe is structured like a spaceship that has tires attached onto it to make it street legal.

Some peep into the specks of the coupe: Measuring 20 feet long and 8 feet wide, this custom-built chassis has a Chevrolet 350 motor attached to it. To eneter into this vehicle, you have to jump from the top from where the canopy opens, likewise in the movie. Initially this coupe was owned by Warner Bros productions and thus the would-be buyer thinking to ink a deal has to sign a contract with them and some other legal items.

Those of you thinking to change interiors of their living space and are busy scanning the various options shall stop here and step towards eBay. A bit whacky but realistic and elite deal is inviting bids. Some anonymous seller is selling selling the interior of a passenger airplane that can be utilized for a complete makeover of your apartment.

The 19-square-foot piece is a part of a real Boeing aircraft with real Airbus seats. It includes first class double seats, two fully-equipped airplane toilets, a kitchenette, storage lockers, and onboard in-flight video equipment. I propose it’s worth giving a try, who knows you end up being the fortunate of the lot to ink this cheap deal.

With starting bid at $ 560.55, you abode in such ambience would make you feel near the clouds. A view outside the house seems similar to the one offered by airplane windows. Take a look at the pics of this contraption and then only take a call whether it suits your taste or no.

News is a man based in Australia has made up to headlines by auctioning his life (house, job, clothes and friends) on eBay, after his marriage broke up. Now he wishes to start a new life. Ian Usher, 44 is tired of old-sick life and wants to explore where life takes him. His life package along with the house is valued at A$420,000 ($385,000, euro250,000).
“Hi there, my name is Ian Usher, and I have had enough of my life! I don’t want it any more! You can have it if you like!,” reads his web page Alife4Sale that redirects the interested ones to ebay for bidding.
Usher declared that his life auction scheduled for 22 June is not restricted to his house, car, motorbike, Jet Ski and spa, but also includes his prologue with “great friends” and a job at a rug shop in Perth for a trial two-week period. I used to wonder if someone can be so desperate to sell out his soul in order to earn money for investing in Christmas celebration. But here I found one. News is that an American man has put his soul to the ebay’s auction block demanding £500,000. It is being said the proud buyer can take home his spirit fitted in a glass jar along with a contract “relinquishing ownership”. Since, the spirit is currently not in use, so the Los-Angles based seller thought that sale is a better option than any devil ruling it.

The seller also wish to buy it back as the money earned from the present sale would add spark to his ordinary life. The initial bid is $1 million, but amazingly he has yet to receive an offer. But hopes are still alive as there is another day to go. The auction can be seen as a replica of one of an episode of the Simpson’s, wherein Bart sells his soul to Milhouse. Also, if you can recall Bart laughing madly at failure of automatic doors to stay closed.
