All Google savvy, technophiles, geeks, researchers, PC-addicts…kindly lend your ears here as the piece of news would bring smile on your face even when your PC is ill and desktop is not in a mood to cooperate. A lately unveiled gadget for Google Desktop called Google Media Server would enable the surfers to take content from their PC and other online Google services i.e. YouTube, Picasa Web Albums, and enjoy it over UPnP compatible devices like the PS3. Regrettably, the Google media server clearly mentions that the gadget does not work with Xbox (albeit technically it is possible but legal department behind it won’t let it happen).
Preliminary evaluation isn’t impressive, but software being beta convinces technophiles that it’s a good start. If you are curious to experience it then install now on your Windows machine. After hitting the option button, you can select the devices that are adaptable to the media on your PC. To maintain your privacy, Google Media Server allows you to approve the access of the devices. The same can be configured by pressing the “Options†button located on Gadget interface then choosing “Devices†from the left hand column.
Tell us about your experience with Google Media Server and if there is a need to polish it further.

Big Controversy: The contemporary reality doesn’t allow us to cherish domestic comfort and pleasure; hence we end up spending chief hours of the day in office. And we take every initiative to spill over dough for decorating our houses with a compromise to stay amidst that dull gray and furniture installed by default now for ages at our offices. Rightly realizing this Hella Jongerius unveiled a new look to the dull office at the exhibition Worksperes in the Museum of Modern Art [MOMA] in New York. Called ‘My Soft Office,’ it aims at discovering the revolutionary workplace.
The designer concept was demonstrated at the exhibition space of VIVID Design in Rotterdam. Right on the heels of its name, Hella put together the needs of a person, practice and products into a treasured experience. The accessories as a part of this initiative features a keyboard with an integrated snack plate, a comfortable double bed that behaves no less than a business desk with installed monitors and others needful i.e. speakers, keyboard and mouse are positioned inside the pillows.

Liveluggae (mobile luggage) mention is not an alien subject to me. It’s being there in my fantasies for long and I used to wonder its possibility in a conceptual form. But with LiveLuggage, today I feel fortunate to have a realistic solution to my flying problems.
The LiveLuggage PA Series is the first power-assisted valise that infuses life into your wild yet sensible ideas. Every large wheel features an electric motor that makes the entire exercise of dragging the suitcase quite easy and it may seem as if you are pulling a light backpack. In absence of any ‘throttle’ button on handle, it makes use of sensors to perceive when you’ve initiated the process of pulling the suitcase and eventually the integrated motor starts its job of pushing it. The ‘anti-gravity’ handles allows the suitcase to bend back while you’re heaving it and putting 85% of its weight straight onto the wheels.
The power driver motors are charged via rechargeable 12V NiMH battery that has a life of about two-hours on a single charge. It does come with a built-in charger and wheels behave like a generator when you move downhill.

Respecting security concerns, it has incorporated TSA approved tumbler lock enabling the holder unlock it within no time. Another feature of ‘Live Locator’ bearing a distinctive serial number on every model enables the company identifies the concerned owner by checking its database. Retailed at $1,365.25, it would surely be a feast to many travelers’ relieving them from their worry of loading tones of belongings’.

May be designers’ will get bored of developing an absolute universal remote control but we as prospective customers or window shoppers consume their creation as our daily feast. Days back I unveiled the concept of universal remote with little knowledge that I am expected to pen down another edged-out remote concept from sPult before you. The lingering issue with the concept or functional remote control remains the embossed buttons on its face that makes us nervous than being enthralled. Doing away with that argument, stands here the “sPult†channel surfer by Yurii Smitana Perfilov claiming to be the most simple and elegant design ever.
The sPult wipes away all the sporadic buttons and sports’ the needful ones. Stimulated by the iPod’s spool wheel, this efficient parcel has an integrated scroll variant for channel surfing. Other highlighting features include an easy preferred selector, volume up-down button, mute button and power button. Thanks Yurii for making us come across such creation and generating hopes that life can be easy as well!
