Bathing in champagne to commemorate precious moments is customary now but apparently we over at Elitechoice feature lifestyle that attunes the needs of uber-rich. Hence, the lately discovered opulent way to mark the deluxe bar of merriment can be the noticeably designed handcrafted leather and wood casket. Honoring the 41st centennial of their lavish refuge, the team at Hotel Byblos has pooled champagne, leather and wood to unveil a pricey treasure chest retailed at 100,000 Euros ($150,000). The coffer sports Salmanazar of Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque 1999, four hand adorned cups and jewels set signed Van Cleef & Arpels.
Amongst the chief artworks, the one successful in rotating eyelids is the nine liter Salmanazar bottle autographed by one of the greatest masters of ‘Art Nouveau.’ The blend Belle Epoque 1999 resulting from the finest Cru Champagne provides delicate taste fragrance of a bouquet of white flowers that is further improved by remarks of sweet almond and nougat. Counted 10 such limited edition caskets are vaialble for grab at Les Caves du Roy, Byblos.

Athina Onassis, the heiress once hailed as ‘the richest little girl in the world’, is on a move to auction off her millions of pounds of jewelry that she inherited from her mother Christina. The fortune worth is amounted at £1 billion but her call for auction is the result of her decision that she has no need of what she sees as the glittering paraphernalia of a departed era. The jewelry collection up for auction is anticipated to generate £8 million on 11 June at Christie’s.

The exhibited collection include a pear-shaped 38-carat diamond estimated at up to £2.2 million, a ruby and diamond necklace by Van Cleef and Arpels expected to fetch £40,000, a rare Buddha by Carl Fabergé that was positioned on Onassis’s yacht likely to generate £250,000 to £350,000 plus a 14.79 carat diamond ring by Harry Winston worthy to realize £500,000-£700,000.

Christie’s, the world’s leading art business is never at rest. At the upcoming two-day exhibition in Geneva on May 16-17 at Geneva’s Four Season Hotel des Bergues, some of its beautiful works will be exhibited for display.
This will include various sought-after diamond designs, including a diamond-briolette pendant, emerald ring, sapphire ring, diamond earrings on the block. The rings are mounted by Van Cleef and Arpels.
The collection by the contemporary designers’ viz. Boivin, Boucheron, Bulgari, Cartier, Harry Winston, Lacloche and Van Cleef and Arpels epitomizes the style statement.
