We often witness people around us making efforts keep electricity and water at two different poles and little does we realize that the electric engine revolution is spreading like a virus in the boating world as well. But if you happen to be riding over the speedboat on water then there cannot be a better power source than sun. Featured above is the Czeers MK1 model solar speedboat, a 30-knot photovoltaic dream in luscious shades of carbon fiber, solar cell and lush orange leather. Dutch founders claim it to the world’s first solar speedboat.
The Delft Technical University Solarboat Team designed this original platform to enter into the 2006 Nuon Frisian Solar challenge, which they finally won and then started evolved their interest in attracting serious investment power from Rabobank to develop a full scale test boat.
The resulting test boat is structured using 100% carbon fiber inlaid with leather trim, photovoltaic cells on roughly all flat surfaces and an LCD touch-screen control system, unveiled at the Millionaire Fair in 2007, claims to make up to 30 knots on water. The 10-meter boat can be packed in 14 square meters of solar panels and an 80kw electric motor. It runs without oil and produces no fumes or engine noise and rides in a truly fashionable style.

Whilst yesterday, we put you across TVA Gazelle, a four-wheeled hybrid car cum bike and today we have another concept called Suzuki Crosscage. The latter is a grand looking lightweight automobile that is a true hydrogen fuel cell and electric hybrid. Its compressed nature offers a power output equivalent to a 125cc engine. A singular hydrogen tank will offer you a 200 kilometers ride, which is good for commuting. It features a gearless transmission and a silent engine due to the power source. It name stands on the cross-shaped cage used to defend the hydrogen tank.
Reports reveal that the machine is awfully narrow and runs on particularly urbanized Bridgestone tires with 17-inch alloy wheels. Its gauge cluster is completely active with an LCD analog-style speedometer positioned in the navigation neck and second digital cluster on the handlebars. I am jealous of those Euro guys who would have an opportunity to ride over it.

For past couple of months, the localities of Tilburg in the Netherlands got bore hearing about the artistic creation of rotating house by renowned architect John Körmeling. Before you ponder over this dog-shaped animation and mistakenly doubt it as your kids’ toy, let me take the honor of introducing you to the form beyond function of this doggy robot. Designed and developed by HPI Corporation, it would surely be a product of difference against their line of radio-controlled cars and planes that serve as pricey deals for boys willing to grow.

Called the G-Dog, it follows the right design philosophy and claims to be quick and dexterous rather than lethargic like the late Sony Aibo robo-dog.
The company was actually in a dilemma to decide the look of a greyhound dog and has finally used the “RS304MD†Time To Live command /PWM controls that assures its speediness. HPI is planning to release four models of G-Dog robot in July.

I am surrounded by a whole set of people who cannot imagine their day in absence of a cup of coffee. And here I choose to be a part of that tribe as it is a great stress buster after fagging. Apparently, the idea is to highlight the affection involved in brewing the coffee.
Called HeartBeans grinder, which is still a concept it promises to prepare a cup of coffee after listening to your heart beat. Featured at NastyPixel, HeartBeans operates a motor within a mahogany casing that captures the pace of the user’s beating heart and then operates in sync with the heartbeat.
Check out the video:
The concept (if ever turn a reality) would intend to persuade an understanding of familiarity with the procedure of making coffee while creating a special flavor with each use. Also, other emotion attached to it is its affectionate appeal that resembles to a mother holding a baby.
