For someone who loves both design and sarcasm (Or maybe a very cruel kind of humor, at times), this little watch is the best piece of design we have seen in sometime. The ‘Cycle Life’ watch designed by Andy Kurovets is one of the best designs that plays off of lives of so many out there whose lives are centered around work and wholly lost in money making by rushing to their PC each day. This goes for people with various jobs, yet one boring box in front of them all day.

Diamonds will be history soon all thanks to a Swiss watcmaker who is claiming to have created watches under brand name Yvan Arpa using moon dust, parts of the Apollo 11 rocket and bits of spacesuits. Wow, what a cool way to stand apart from 599 Swiss watchmakers!
The use of ‘inaccessible materials’ really does make Geneva-based Romain Jerome’s watches a hot property vis-a-vis rivals like Richemont’s Vacheron Consantin and Patek Philippe, that too in the global economic slowdown.

When a company says that they are making “one-of-a-kind” piece, then you better be sure before spending a fortune on it. Maybe you would want to make sure that there is no exact replica of what you bought, but I guess there is no sure way to find out. In 2001 Vianney Halter created a project called “Faces of Time” which also included a one-of-a-kind watch. For that one, Halter imagined and realized a very special timepiece that was called “Satellarium” due to his very special shape. Apparently this watch was delivered to Goldpfeil in 2001 and sold.

Featured above is the DeWitt Concept No. 1 timepiece that makes you utter ‘It is monstrously steampunkish’ on its very first glimpse. This one-of-its-kind watch is an outcome of alliance between French architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte and DeWitt.
This gothic bootleg spacecraft of a watch does set new values for steampunk artifacts and thanks to its escalating riveted case, soaring tourbillon, five barrels with a 21-days power reserve. The flying tourbillon is being deputed to counteract the force of enormity that’s marks the accuracy of the watch. You might question its hefty price tag of $633,000 but it smilingly deserves this tag as this luxurious possession doesn’t come cheap.
Any takers? Jimmy Tan of Prince Jewellery and Watch Company is the proud owner of the Dewitt Incognito 2008 Concept No.1 watch as he inked this neat deal at the OnlyWatch auction. Can you think of any other form to flaunt your steampunk taste? Besides this, the flavor of steampunk embedded in keyboards is much appreciable.

Right selection of bags, shoes and wrist watch is what counts foremost to add to a man’s personality. And the much-in-news timepiece that has rotated eye lids, broken heads last week at Villa in Hollywood is the one flaunted by Lindsey Lohan. Her new Haimov is not exclusive to her as the long queue was followed by celebrities 50 Cent & Timbaland, socialite Paris and athletes like who dared to spill over $26,000 for a Haimov HM2. This gives reason enough to the watch maker Igal Haimov to feel fortunate and thank Hollywood for the same.
Identifiable by their exclusive octagon figure and tricky numeric outline, Haimovs also comes with built-in detachable bezel. Its cost varies from $8,000 up to $52,000, and choice is yours if you want to add more bling to your collection by taking home the HM1 style that is embedded with shining 21 carats! Feel free to check out more patterns at Haimov stores in Miami before making up your mind.
